- Trained local instructor
- Suitable, well-maintained car
An intensive driving course — also called a crash course — concentrates 5 to 45 hours of instruction into consecutive days, so most learners are test-ready in one to three weeks instead of several months. Courses run across Greater Manchester in manual or automatic cars, 8am to 8pm, whether you're a complete beginner or refreshing before a booked test.
Every Intensive Course Includes
A trained, DVSA-qualified local instructor
A suitable, fully insured car for your lessons and test
Full scheduling flexibility, 8am to 8pm

Most intensive courses run over one to three weeks, depending on the number of hours. A 5-hour test-ready refresher can be done in a couple of days; a 30-hour beginner course typically spreads across two to three weeks so there is time to absorb each session.
Yes, but start at 25 to 30 hours rather than a shorter package. Beginners taking a 30-hour course have a good chance of being test-ready, though some need around five more hours. Your instructor will tell you honestly where you stand as the course progresses.
Every intensive course includes a DVSA-qualified local instructor who knows the test routes, and use of a suitable, well-maintained car throughout your training. Theory and practical test fees are never included in any of our courses — you book both tests yourself with the DVSA and pay their fee directly.
You can add extra hours at the standard rate. No honest instructor will put you in for a test you're not ready for, so if you need more time your instructor will say so early enough for you to plan around it.
Not for intensive courses — the amount charged online is the booking amount, and the full course price is shown next to it on every course. Beginner offers and hourly lessons are the same figure either way, because they are paid in full when you book.
